Joseph D. Castellucci, Jr., Esq.

Joe’s experience in the field of education as a teacher and as a school law attorney gives him a unique advantage in representing students with special needs because he has a wealth of experience in navigating both the public education and legal systems. Joe advocates for students who require special education programming and related services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP), or accommodations via a Section 504 Accommodation Plan. Joe also represents students and their families in disciplinary hearings (including allegations of harassment, intimidation, and bullying) before school boards, enforcement of students’ civil rights, juvenile delinquency proceedings, and guardianship actions.

Joe received his Juris Doctor Degree from Seton Hall Law School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, cum laude, from Seton Hall University. He is admitted to practice in all New Jersey courts, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Joe has also made many appearances before the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law where special education due process hearings are held.
