New Jersey's Project Child Find

If you have concerns about your child's development, but are unsure where to turn, the New Jersey Department of Education established Project Child Find. This is a free and confidential referral program to assist you in obtaining services for your child. Contact Project Child Find at 1-800-322-8174 for children aged 3 and older. For children ages birth through 2 years of age, contact the New Jersey Early Intervention System for assistance at 1-888-653-4463.


You can also constant your local school district for assistance and guidance on obtaining services for your child. In some instances, depending on where you live, the local school district may be responsible for providing your child with Pre-K services and instruction.
